We seek to engage children with Biblical truth in age appropriate, fun, and creative ways. Our children's ministry is broken into two sections, Playground (birth-5 years old) and Treehouse (1st-5th grade)
Playground is where we love and care for our newborns through pre-K children. Register your little ones at our sign-in table. If you have a baby or toddler, take him right into the nursery. If you have a preschooler, she will go into the worship service with you and will be dismissed during the break along with the other children. The preschoolers go to their own class for playtime, a lesson, a snack, and a craft.
For our K-5th graders we have the Treehouse that introduces truths through the large group, when a storyteller shares an interactive Bible story, and the small group times when leaders help the children memorize verses and apply truths to their own lives. This year we are helping our children put the storyline of the Bible together by using The Gospel Project.
Hope Church Youth (6-12th grade students) meet Sunday nights from 5:30-7:30. During that time, students often bring snacks to share, spend time learning God's Word, and have a little fun together. Visitors are always welcome.
Throughout the year, the students will participate in camps (winter & summer), local youth gatherings, and other events. Visitors are always welcome.
When you start attending the youth group, you will be studying the book "Christian Beliefs" by Wayne Grudem. In addition to a reading assignment each week, each student will be given a workbook to complete.
Upon completion of both the "Basic Beliefs" and "How to Study the Bible" classes, we will start a class using Matt Chandler's book "To Live is Christ, To Die is Gain" which is an expositional study of the book of Philippians.
Starting February 1st, the women of Hope will begin the "How to Study the Bible?" series from "30 Days to Understanding the Bible" by Max Anders. This will be led by Pastor Andy. Check out our Facebook page to watch a live broadcast of the study.

We desire to affirm and hold accountable men as servant leaders within their families, their workplaces, and with other relationships. This affirmation and accountability will lay the foundation from which we intend to build. We look to Christian men to do their jobs and hold the line in the places and situations they are in today. We are not looking for supermen but men of honor and integrity as they accomplish small and routine things that are typically taken for granted.
Weekly All men are encouraged to join the "Men of Hope" for lunch every Wednesday from 11:30-1:00. The Adtran Cafe (901 Explorer Blvd, Huntsville, AL) is open to everyone and has different options available. Also, feel free to brown bag it. Hope to see you there.
Monthly Come join the "Men of Hope" for a morning meal from 08:00-10:00 a.m. on the second Saturday of every month. These regular monthly meetings will consist of breakfast (which will surely include baconwith a side of bacon, and maybe some eggs -- $5 donation requested), time of prayer, occasional worship through song, and the presentation of resource (speaker, video/discussion, book discussion, etc). Please contact Derek Fleischmann or Kevin Mays if you have any questions or want to help with the cooking.
Current Study: "Eyes of Honor" by Jonathan Welton that will take us through the Spring of 2017 on how to struggle with lust and find help. We will be using a similar format with ‘battle buddies’ similar to the last study. If you are interested in being involved, contact Derek.
Quarterly Once a quarter, in lieu of the monthly meeting, we will do an activity. That activity will be on that 2nd Saturday if possible and will be some sort of recreational activity.
In addition to our local outreach efforts, below you will find missionaries both national and international that are supported by Hope Church through care, finances, and prayer. Please take some time to get to know them. Please click missionaries name to read more about them.
When we come into the family of God we are not just isolated individuals but members of a community. We believe that beyond just "attending" a church that we must be linked in vital relationship where we can worship, study, and "experience life" together.
At Hope we have chosen to do this through community groups that meet throughout the week in various locations and different times. Below you will find a map of where the various groups meet. If you click on the "tacks" you can find more information about the meeting and a contact person.
