And he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath.” - Hebrews 9:12 (ESV) ‘What did you do on your summer vacation?’ It’s the prompt that every middle or high schooler in their English class receives as the first assignment back from their summer break. In these essays, they regale the class with descriptions of adventures or trips to a theme park or times at the pool or vacations with the family. This week, I’m back (Andy). And I’m going to read you MY essay about what I did this summer. Not really. But I do want to share with you some of the things that God taught me and encouraged me with during my time away. I believe they are things that will be helpful and point you toward Him. Would you take a few minutes to read through Mark 2:23-28 to prepare your heart for one of the ideas we will look at together. Also we will be sharing in communion together as well. So plan to join us in person or online at 10am.
