I’m a pastor’s kid that survived moving from the Midwest to So Cal between Junior High and High School. I made a profession of faith at age five, but grew tremendously when several men invested in my life during my high school years. It was then I sensed God moving me toward ministry. In 1993, I married my high school sweetheart, Melissa. And since then God has given us five kids.

In 2005 God brought us to Huntsville. As transplants to the South, we quickly fell in love with the area and now call it home. In my spare time, which isn’t much with five kids, I enjoy woodworking and watching football.

While I grew up attending church, it was only in high school that I became a Christian through a Christian camp ministry and the faithful witness of God’s people.  Soon after receiving Christ, I began serving and leading in various ministry capacities, which ultimately led me to pursue pastoral ministry.

After briefly attending Texas A&M University, I married Stella and moved to the Northwest to finish school. We’ve since had two boys, moved across the country again to do more school in Alabama, and became connected to Hope Church.

I enjoy studying languages and history, playing games with my family, watching sports (mostly football, basketball, and tennis), and lifting weights
